We are Masterpieces

Art is a universal expression and understanding without limits. Without limits life is simply a continuous manifestation from us all as living forms of art. Each moment we can be in the creation, the inspiration or in inspiration, or in appreciation of all living moments of art. Therefore being alive is artistry as we are always and always have, the way to connect to all things in all moments in all ways.

We are and our lives are masterpieces within the masterpiece that is the universe. Art takes moments, created from thoughts, ideas, and beliefs to communicate something that somehow finds us inside within a deep feeling place. That place within the self that responds to music, sculpture, painting, dance, theatre and language is the place that connects us all.

When we feel a response to something it causes the remembering of its source. It resonates within as it finds its source which is at the heart of all creation. Each can feel a melody, imagine from an image and allow a movement or touch that offers a realization that changes our next moment. We therefore are a medley, a vibration being. We are artists as visionaries. Our movements and the way we touch become a dance and an expression which is pure and unique. As we create art we touch source, which connects us to the heart of all creation. We invite all to see the Artistry all around us and in all we do.

Artistry is remembering that authority, the Artist is you. Artistry is clarity that all is well for our self and all of humanities greatest good. We do makes and difference and all we do has a permanence in the great gallery of humanity. When we find our self remembering this we unify knowing we are all in a continuous story and that story is all about love.

Art as we think of it now is a moment in time recorded to reference over and over again. The artist chooses their moment which becomes their art. We accept it and see the piece as its one moment and for its original intent; a simple moment in time. The model Michelangelo used to create David knew this now acts as the universal embodiment of this truth. David as art is a moment of the invulnerable posing of an entire being. Many humans on the planet have been witness this with a high understanding and possibility. As the model did for Michelangelo, we all long for ourselves to be known, stark and exposed to be this possibility as art. Who we are in this complexity of the world and simplicity of truth is art.

Our lives are a continuum of these moments. This is living in artistry. Allowing everything and denying nothing, we never know what will happen next. Within a moment within the continuum of life, when the curtain closed we found was a judgment; right wrong, good bad, winner looser and our inner critic was revealed. That moment became like a freeze frame and brought forward its judgment to everything that followed. The critic revealed itself and is one of our characters. The critic or “Ego” made its grand its entrance into our life speaking only of criticism and opposition of what was true or real. It had us see, as there is judgement there is a denial of possibility. The "Ego" challenged the self to be seen, heard and known for its truth as pure possibility. The Ego tried to hide the true self by closing the curtains on our performances. It challenged the us to take a stand and like David be seen by all.

Ego is art and our greatest contrast. It is the backdrop of the true self, the star. We would be lost on a stage without darkness to contrast our being seen. The stars in the night sky reveal themselves only because of the vast dark universe. That darkness is experienced with neutrality because it is understood. We now can understand the Ego also with this neutrality as it has been there all along to support what has always been true. So then, the curtain once closed in front of us is now our backdrop to remain behind us, with us in harmony and grace. Are we ready to play again and star in our own play?We are and our lives are masterpieces within the masterpiece that is the universe.
